Course Info

We do use a course book merely as a guideline for topics discussion within the class, and specific vocabulary for this level.

This course is designed for advanced students who have a good command of the Spanish language and feel confident conversing, discussing in it. This advanced course is purely conversational, and aims will be on developing speaking and listening skills and boosting fluency in the Spanish language through lively conversation lessons.

We organise a wide and diversified range of extra-curricular activities meeting a variety of learners interests where learners will also have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge about the Spanish speakers countries’ culture.

Regular activities include cultural visits to the theatre, watching films in the Spanish language, flamenco shows, Spanish food and wine tasting, etc. Each year learners are given the opportunity to join a trip abroad. During the last few years students have visited Cuba, Gran Canaria, Valencia, Santander, Bilbao, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, where they enjoyed the experience and had the opportunity to practice what they learnt with us.

Course Guidelines

A suitable course if you can:

• Read a newspaper, magazine or web page, with a dictionary for the odd word.
• Understand most of a TV programme. Discuss issues in the news, exchange opinions, argue.
• Talk about films, music, theatre, sport, the media, etc.
• Choose the language structures you need to express what you want.
